Where am I..

Being home is seriously the weirdest feeling ever.
I'm not SICK of home yet or anything, but it's strange because it feels like I never left.
It feels like Katimavik was like this crazy good dream that I just got woken up out of. Everything here just seemed to stay the same, the views out of the windows are unchanging as are the cold outside winter conditions.
Oh dear,
I've been looking into different options for University and living arrangements and for jobs. All of it is so scary and overwhelming. Right now where the 'wants' are, is to work here in a cafe-ish place, take creative writing in Montreal. But I seriously get aniexty and mini panic attacks when I think about my future and my to do list and things. I haven't been jobless since I was 14 years old, and ever since then I've had a job or volunteer placement before I've quit my previous job. So getting a job is high on my to do list. :P
I got to see the bestie yesterday and I get to see my other bestie tomorrow! It's really great to see old friends and it's as if things pick up just where they left off, which is great. Me and Lisa had a lot to talk about and me and Cally will too.
Today I spent about 3 hours writing letters to the group. (:

Writing letters to my Katima family hasn't given me complete closure but it's helped for sure. Now I have a neat little stack of Katima letters on my beside table and it gives me comfort to think I can slip them into a local mail box and they will find their way to my closest friends when I cannot.
I just got the new Black Eyed Peas CD off Itunes, oh wow it's so good. Is so is french texting Eve, tehe, keep the French language alive, so scared to forget the little bit I learnt.
A part of being home I really love is seeing my dog Cleo all the time. She is seriously the cutest thing ever.

Didn't know a dog was allowed to be this cute?
I'm sorry my new blog is so much more boring than my Katima blog, I need to some how turn my normal life interesting. Tehe, wait until I get a job.
Thanks for reading. (:

I'm home.

So yesterday I took the two plane rides away from my Katima family and came back to my home Family.
In the time since I've been home I've eaten pizza, chilled with my sister and rents, kissed a happy little doggy, and unpacked my suitcases and did a mountain of laundry.
Things just aren't the same.
It's so strange to me how something that seemed so crazy, scary, and new can so easily become your reality.
Those people, a girl with crazy curly red hair and a creative hand, the girl with long wavy blonde hair and a sweet heart, the girl who should have dreads and is pre-vegan, the boy who is tall and can single handedly run a farm, the guy whose hair changes everyday and has crazy ideas, the girl who has short dark hair who makes me laugh until I can't breathe, the boy with an eyebrow piercing and crazy dance moves, the girl with glasses and a sexy French accent, the boy with blonde/greenish hair and mad guitar skills, and the halarious boy who sometimes confuses himself with a car... these people are like my second half, and this is only to be expected when spending everyday for 6 months with them.
Now that I'm home I'm much more quiet, sort of slow to comprehend when being spoken to, slow to react, and after 41 hours straight of no real sleep I slept for 18 hours.
My phone vibrates more than usual as cute texts from my Katima family comes in, and every now and then I can feel the water works coming back for a visit.
Katimavik was so amazing and I love my Katima-fam and I am already making plans to go visit them...
Time to write a lot of letters, and wallow in my sadness. Aha.
